Getting Started in Network Marketing
6090% of all people starting out in network marketing already either have a full-time job, part-time job, or an existing business. Most people also are already putting in a full week, so the number 1 complaint I get from people besides not having any money, is no time. Being employed is easy. I have been an employee and a business owner and I would rather be an employee, except for 2 major things. One, you don't have the opportunity to get rich (more than likely), two, you are always vulnerable to competition, age, or lay-offs and probably have limited freedom. I remember 10 years ago being the top salesperson in my company for the month. I made a sarcastic remark to my boss, and instead of getting my parking spot and trophy, I was escorted out of the building with a box and all my belongings. That was a $10,000 a month job, and I ended up having a difficult time getting re-hired thereafter, as I couldn't use my employer as a reference. So anytime you think you are golden as an employee, you are always replaceable. Don't ever think differently, and you just might keep your job.
So why network marketing? Most all of us have known someone who has been in network marketing. Unfortunately, most of us have been exposed to the family member who ended up buying a garage full of product, and all they had to show for it was a credit card bill as big, or bigger than their mortgage. I knew of one guy in when I was living in Maui, who had never done network marketing before and put $6,000 on his credit card. Not much, when you think of buying a business, but that is a ton of money to get started in network marketing.
So again why network marketing? Here is why am doing it, and why you should also consider. First of all, there are people out there that are very successful from network marketing. You can become a millionaire in network marketing without having to spend $250,000 or even $50,000 to get started. In most cases you can get started for less than $500 bucks. Don't buy into the lie that you don't need any money to build your network marketing business. You will need some money for business cards, website, and of course product. You have to market yourself to your associates, business community, online, etc...So anyone who tells you that you don't have to have any money isn't telling you the truth. In my business I tell everyone they need to commit to at least the minimum monthly commitment to buy product so they can earn commissions. If someone isn't willing to spend a few hundred dollars to get started they probably are wasting your time. If you want to learn more about my business go to my website at www.thehomebiz4you and you can learn about a business where you can be in business for less than $200 in 24 hours. You can earn your first paycheck in less than 2 weeks. No more delayed gratification. This is the best network marketing opportunity available anywhere. And guess what? You can keep your day job while your building your empire.

Interestingly enough, the relative ease of getting involved with network marketing distorts some people's perception of mlm as a "serious" business. The mlm business model must fit the individual, not the other way around.
