Is Web Prosperity Just Hype???

The latest craze in MLM lately seems to be this company called "Web Prosperity" founded by marketing guru David D'Arcangelo. I have received so many emails from people asking my opinion or telling me theirs, that I just had to do a blog on it. First let me say that I did fall victim to the hype and secured my position about a week ago. That is pretty cool, being that I get hit up on by several companies and opportunities per day. I would say out of the hundreds of opportunities I have looked at only a couple have caught my attention.

Some people are saying Webprosperity is a Joke. I've heard it about my main company Zrii for months. My direct sponsor in Zrii is a former High School Basketball Coach with Zero MLM Experience and he makes a nice six figure income. The reason I say that is, because you can make it in MLM with no prior experience. Here is why Web Prosperity is being bad mouthed by many. People don't believe, or don't want to believe that it is possible to make it in MLM with a company that is not well established. Of course whenever a program gains mass popularity there are going to be many naysayers. I remember in the early 80's trying to not follow the popular music bands, because it just wasn't cool. I thought it was cool to be "The Lone Ranger".

In an economy like today when more businesses are going under than emerging who wouldn't be skeptical of a hot commodity. More than likely the naysayers have slaved away for years or months to build their existing businesses. And truthfully there is nothing wrong with that. Yes you have to have some talent to make it in MLM. Yes it is not a get rich quick scheme, but at the same time it is a proven fact in most all MLM Companies that those that get in early make 80% of the wealth. I know of one guy in my current company who has a downline of over a thousand people and has barely recruited anyone. If you don't believe me on this matter, just look at your top income earners in your current company? I have yet to meet a top income earner of any MLM Company that didn't get in within the first few years of conception. Even Randy Gage one of the top MLM Income earners of all time, states that you must join a company before it hits critical mass to make a fortune. No offense to Robert Allen or Robert Kiyosaki on their 4 year in business rule, but when It comes to MLM I would take Randy's advice any day of the week. Most every superstar in MLM Knows this, and this is why after critical mass has been achieved only the non MLM-Superstar Types will join. There is nothing wrong with joining later. You can make a nice $5K - $10K per month with rock solid companies like Herbalife, Amway, Melaleuca, or USANA. But the odds of making the $20K - $150K per month with those type of companies just isn't there. It is no different than buying stock; and as a distributor that is what you are doing, buying stock with your initial investment, on going purchases, and time. Would you be better off buying Google Stock now, or when they first went public in 01? Help the man, I think you know the answer.  If you have read Warren Buffet's books like I have you will know that he made his first big win with a company called American Express back in the late 60's.

Any company that breaks records like Zrii, which did around $50 Million in the first 12 months will be bad mouthed by the veterans who are still stuck in their old school network marketing mentality. I'm sure there is a sense of "envy". Last I checked "envy" is one of the 7 Deadly Sins. But regardless, nothing will replace talent, hardwork, and leadership.  I personally hate to know that I have had to work hours to build my downline with Zrii, while others have reaped the benefit of getting in at the right time. I personally believe some of the top network marketers in the world in the future won't be established entrepreneurs, but young men and women between 20 - 30 years of age. Why do I think that? Because they understand technology, they understand trends, and they have never become accustomed to job security. They are the generation that will jump into a corvette to drive to boston instead of an old VW Bus. My current sponsor with Zrii who is making a six-figure income is only 31 years old, so there you have it.
